The visionary for the company is Jon Easterling, or “Amazon John”, as they call him. He spent many years exploring the Rainforest for treasures and artifacts, and soon discovered that medicinal plants were the true treasure of the Rainforest. During this time John had a life changing experience of his own after seeing results from these medicinal plants relative to a health crisis of his own.

A partnership between Amazon John and health care practitioners lead to the formulation of Amazon Herb Co. products. As word spread and demands grew, the company embraced the concept of direct distribution so that these life enhancing treasures from the Rainforest could be available to the masses.

Amazon Herb Co. has joined forces with the Amazon Center for Environmental Education and Research (ACEER) Foundation to develop environmental education programs and provide support to communities in the Amazon. The mission is to help these people adapt to the many challenges created by logging and exploration and provide better choices for them to manage their resources and sustain the future of the Rainforest.
